Kitchens for small spaces in Mauritius
A compact kitchen can provide all the comfort you need when the layout is planned precisely. In a studio, apartment or narrow room, each decision should improve the use of space without making the design feel visually heavy.
Use height and corners
Wall cabinets increase storage without taking up more floor area. In a corner, shelving that reaches the back prevents a difficult zone from being wasted. Carefully positioned tall units can group food storage or house selected appliances while keeping the layout orderly.
Integrate the appliances
A hood concealed inside a wall cabinet maintains a clean visual line and preserves useful storage. An integrated dishwasher and built-in appliances also create a more consistent appearance. Their positions should be defined during the design stage so that connections, ventilation and clearances can be planned correctly.
Choose storage that serves a purpose
Drawers beneath the hob keep utensils and cookware close at hand. Anti-slip mats help stop items moving inside the drawers. In the sink unit, a PVC protective base helps protect the cabinet interior while a suitable arrangement maintains access to water connections and drainage.
Make the room feel more open
Light colours, well-distributed lighting and aligned fronts can increase the sense of space. A small number of open or floating shelves can add visual lightness when they do not replace essential closed storage. Keeping the worktop as clear as possible also makes the kitchen easier to use.
Designed around the actual dimensions
Cuisine Habitat reviews the measurements, technical constraints and your priorities before proposing a layout. 3D visuals allow the volumes and circulation to be checked before the kitchen is produced.
